This is definitely one of the toughest missions in the game. Protecting the Otana
and ATR Storm are of utmost importance.
As the game says, you should dumb-fire your proton torpedoes at the cruiser right away.
Then deal with the defenses using all-linked fire mode while the other fighters
deal with the mercenary ships.
Keep an eye out early for the leaving shuttle so you can inspect it - the people
onboard are needed later and thus the ship is considered friendly.
When ATR Storm goes in to board, put them in a preset and
keep a constant vigil to make sure they are unharmed. A good deal of the current and
incoming Starfighters will focus on him. Also make sure to take out the Marauder
Corvette as it will destroy docked craft easily.
After the boarding party finds the bomb, switch your preset to the Otana,
follow it to its docking position, and circle it with an extremely slow engine rate.
Put shields and lasers to maximum recharge, and prepare for the fleet
of Blastboats coming in. Order your squadron to attack their fighter type and fire
in the Blastboats direction before you are in firing range - this allows you to pick down
the missiles firing at the Otana.
When the Blastboats are either all destroyed (watch it, a few come in from below
the station) or too busy trying to fire lasers, start dogfighting. Defeating
the Blastboats is the key part of the mission, so if the Otana survives, you will probably
win the mission.
There is one tricky problem to keep aware of, though - if the Otana is hit by friendly
fire while docked, it will immediately disengage and attack the station, basically ending
the mission in failure.
