Tour of Duty Three - Mission 5
Plant Listening Device
X-Wing Alliance Strategy Guide
Score: 1757 Bonus: 750
Aeron needs you to help her plant a listening device on one of the satellites you inspected in the last mission.

If you really want the bonus points, use defend fire to avoid the gunboats and head for the ETR.  Use linked fire to bring it down quickly.  Then head back for the gunboats.

Next, take down the minefield - you don't want any satellites to blow up, but its better than risking Aeron's life (she automatically leaves the ship when you inspect the right one).

When A/S Omicron appears, head towards it quickly, firing lasers at all times.   Try to put a big dent in its shields before it releases the T/K group of storm troopers.

The T/Ks should be your target from now on.  Two are released at a time, but they move pretty fast, so use auto-fire and forward fire independently.  After 3-5 pairs have been dealt with, it will probably stop releasing more - this is your chance to take the A/S out.

Finally, if Aeron is not finished yet, deal with remaining zero gravity troopers.   They are concentrated on killing you, but auto-fire is pretty accurate, so you should make quick work of them.

This mission seems to have more luck attached to it than many others - if you don't destroy the T/Ks fast enough, you lose.  Its as simple as that.
