Tour of Duty 7: Vasudan Fighters
Mission 1: "The Fog of War"
Location:
Objectives:
- Destroy all Shivan Gas Miners
- Destroy all Shivan Sentry Guns
In Game:
- Destroy Gas Miners
- Destroy Sentry Guns
- Destroy Shivan fighter wings
- Abort objectives and protect GVD Tatenen
- Unusual jump signature detects greater than super-destroyer class ship.
- GVD Tatenen destroyed almost instantaneously by Shivan mega-destroyer "Sathanas" (Primary 1/1 failed)
This level starts out cut and dry - hit the gun platforms, it the miners, and hit the pesky Shivan fighters. By the time you narrow down the miners to 50%, you'll get called back to protect the Tatenen.
Assign bomber squadrons to function keys and order all fighters to engage. It's pretty standard for protecting cruisers - however, when most of the ships are destroyed, the "Sathanas" will jump in. The Shivan capital ship is so big and well armed that the Tatenen will be destroyed without even seeing the full extent of the ship.
GTVA Declares state of emergency.
Cut-scene: Bosch contemplates the fate of humanity.
